ITEC provides training and technical cooperation to 160 partner countries in the Global South & offers more than 10000 scholarship slots annually to various countries across the planet.The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) programme was launched on 15th September, 1964 as a bilateral programme of assistance of the Government of India. It is the flagship programme of the Indian Goverment's technical cooperation effort, not only because of its wide geographical coverage but also for innovative forms of technical cooperation

The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development is a premier organization of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, engaged in training, consultancy, research, etc. in order to promote entrepreneurship and Skill Development. The major activities of the Institute include Training of Trainers, Management Development Programmes, Entrepreneurship-cum-Skill Development Programmes, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes and Cluster Intervention.

NIESBUD conducts 5 to 8-weeks’ training programmes under the Fellowship of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme, Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India for the participants from different countries. The Institute generally organizes 14-15 such training programmes in physical mode at NIESBUD Campus involving training of 250 participants every year.
