The Sensitization and Capacity Building Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs is one of the initiatives under the Raising & Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Project being implemented by Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC). It aims at providing technical and management awareness to MSMEs led by women and to focus cohort entrepreneurs with a view to improving the social and economic impact of the RAMP programme on disadvantaged sections.
The programme aims to provide training on their most essential needs – including formalization, value enhancement, certification, diversification, market access, technology incorporation, packaging and branding, etc.
The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) has been entrusted as an Implementing Agency by MSSIDC under the RAMP Programme to conduct Capacity Building Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs across Maharashtra.
The Sensitization and Capacity Building Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs organised by NIESBUD aims to create awareness among women-led MSMEs about essential aspects of running and scaling up a business. The programme addresses key areas such as entrepreneurial support ecosystems, including government schemes, regulatory compliance, and formalization processes. Additionally, it introduces participants to important elements like digital marketing, e-commerce, financial literacy, and legal compliance.
